This miniature Richmond skyline brings together many of the city’s most recognizable landmarks, including the Virginia State Capitol, Federal Reserve Bank, and Main Street Station. Originally created as a celebration of Richmond’s architecture and character, the model was later commissioned by the Virginia Museum of History & Culture to supplement its Traveling Bricks exhibition. Displayed alongside the exhibition in Richmond, the skyline added a distinctly local dimension to the museum’s presentation while highlighting the architecture and places that define the city.
