Busy Bricks Workshop is a Richmond-based creative practice founded by Benjamin Edlavitch, an architect and LEGO artist who uses the medium to create architectural models, installations, and educational programs. Ben’s work combines his background in architecture with his experience as a contestant on Season 4 of LEGO Masters and a professional LEGO builder.

Since establishing Busy Bricks, Ben has worked with museums, schools, cultural institutions, and businesses throughout Virginia. His commissions include a 50,000-piece model of the Virginia State Capitol, a 35,000-piece model of the Science Museum of Virginia, and projects for the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, Medical College of Virginia, and Virginia Executive Mansion.

Busy Bricks develops projects ranging from highly detailed architectural models to workshops and community programs, with each project tailored to its audience, setting, and purpose.
